Love Letters Of Old

My older brother is hard to buy for at Christmas so one year I came up with this. I took a photo of my dad when he was in the army and took a picture of mom when she was 18 and painted them together. One of the men in dads unit had a cousin that wrote to him and he let dad see her picture. Well that is all it took. Dad started writing to mom and when he go home they got married. Although I don't have the letters they sent each other. I knew some of where dad had been and put them in the letters. I think that my painting was a hit, it was the first peasant that ever made him cry. I made one for my younger brother the next year.
